Falmouth celebrates the Twinkle Brothers’ musical legacy

The Twinkle Brothers have been honoured in Falmouth, Trelawny, for their contribution to music. The Jamaica Observer reported on 21 October that brothers Norman and Ralston Grant were recognised at the 2026 National Heroes’ Day civic and awards ceremony in Water Square. The ceremony was organised by the Trelawny Municipal Corporation and the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission. Ralston attended, while Norman was away touring. The brothers formed the group in 1962, making the hometown recognition a celebration of a musical journey spanning more than six decades. Falmouth also holds a personal connection to that story: the siblings previously operated a record shop there.
